This one feels different.

I’m going back to the beginning…… Grass roots.

Chef Carniel Levy was the very first chef I featured for the UKBCN supper club — Jamaican cuisine, elevated , reimagined through a fine-dining lens.

And now, we’re bringing it full circle.

A place that holds a little piece of my own story too. I was here helping scrub down the walk-in fridge walls and floors alongside the late Chef Dom Taylor, getting the space ready for launch.

So when I say From Grass Roots, I mean it.

This feels like a reset. Back to the foundation. Back to the people who supported me. Back to why I started this network in the first place.

And then there’s @kromanti_rum

One of the very first brands to believe in UKBCN when hardly anyone knew what it was. Now, years later, I’ve got their rum stocked behind the bar — and you’ll be drinking it and hearing about it on the night.

That’s full circle. 🥃

Three courses. Cocktails. Good people. Great food. And a room full of Black culinary talent, community and connection.
